Transportation

Transportation in Burlingame is exceptionally convenient.  The city is positioned just moments from San Francisco International Airport, with accessible Caltrain and BART stops, as well as five free shuttles that serve the city.

Schools

Burlingame has a plethora of preschools, and its public schools are highly acclaimed.  Burlingame School District operates five elementary schools, including Franklin Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, McKinley Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, and Washington Elementary.  Burlingame Intermediate School is the sole public middle school.  Burlingame High School, operated by the San Mateo Union High School District, is the city's one public high school.  Private schools include Mercy High School, located in the historic Kohl Mansion, Our Lady of Angels School and St. Catherine of Siena School.  The city also offers two public library branches.
