Our Summer Movie Event is here!
Calling all movie lovers and community champions! We're hosting a fun-filled afternoon at Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas San Mateo on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at 12:00 PM (noon). Get ready for a private screening of Harold and The Purple Crayon, delicious food and drinks, and the chance to give back to local schools – all in one exciting event!

- See a Great Movie: We'll be screening a fantastic summer flick, perfect for moviegoers of all ages.
- Delicious Treats: Enjoy a complimentary lunch, drink and popcorn, while you relax and take in the movie.
- Support a Great Cause: We're raising essential supplies for our local schools! Shop our Amazon list below to directly donate what they need most. If you prefer, any school supplies are gratefully accepted. Drop them off in person at Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas San Mateo or ship them to our office at 16 East 3rd, San Mateo.
Here's how your afternoon will unfold:
- 11:30 AM: Our friendly hosts will be there to greet you with a warm welcome.
- 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Doors open! Drop off your school supply donations, and then take your time getting settled in, placing your food and drink orders, or chatting with your seat neighbors before the movie begins.
- 12:00 PM: The movie begins. Settle in with your popcorn and drinks and get ready for a fantastic summer adventure on the big screen!
