A Bay Area Staple

Eichler homes are more than just homes, they represent a belief that life should be lived "the California way."

 

Built between 1949 and 1966, Joseph Eichler collaborated with well-known architects to build more than 11,000 of his signature homes across the San Francisco Bay Area. The South Bay and Peninsula by far have more Eichler homes than other areas, with 2700+ homes in Palo Alto alone! These homes were affordable but highly coveted by the post-WW2 middle class. Today, these homes are still beloved by design-minded individuals and homeowners who have an appreciation for a time gone by.

Our Process

Prepping Your Home

Our listing team is ready to assist with preparing your home for sale. Depending on the amount of work needed, we typically are able to prep your home for sale in 2-3 weeks.  One of our team's key points of difference is that we help coordinate all of the work with the vendors of your choice or per our recommendation, and can select all of the colors, finishings, etc. We are your project coordinators to complete the job. Our clients find great value in our "hand us the keys and walk away" approach. Our top concern is in making updates that bring the most value and are desired by today's buyers.

 

Some of our listing team responsibilities include:

  • Meet with vendors for bids 

  • Collect all bids for your review and approval

  • Create a listing prep calendar so you know what is happening at all times

  • Coordinate the work being completed. Daily updates are provided, so you stay informed about the progress

  • Ensure the home is ready to go to market on time
